Water PNG Limited is delighted to announce the continuation of a fruitful partnership that began in 2018. Through a Memorandum of Agreement, Water PNG, Eda Ranu, Koiari Rugby League, and Dobo Warriors merged their efforts to support and empower local athletes and sporting teams within the Sogeri Valley. The merger resulted in the birth of Water PNG Limited, which will now carry forward this promising collaboration.

 

The primary objective of this partnership is to promote and enhance cooperation while offering opportunities to talented local athletes and sports teams in the region. This initiative aligns with Water PNG's commitment to fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility by giving back to the community.

 

At Water PNG, we recognize our social obligation to the people residing along the Sogeri Plateau, where the government draws water from and shares with us, ensuring that we fulfill our responsibility towards the community.

As a gesture of our ongoing support, Water PNG is proud to sponsor both the Koiari Rugby League and Dobo Warriors with a generous contribution of K 50,000 each. These funds can be utilized for various purposes, including the procurement of new sporting equipment for training and game days, as well as the purchase of essential sporting wear. Furthermore, the sponsorship will also assist in covering competition fees and contribute towards medical insurance coverage for the players, ensuring their well-being both on and off the field.

 

Looking ahead to 2023, Water PNG seeks to leverage this sponsorship by actively involving the talented Dobo Warriors players in our community outreach and awareness programs. By utilizing their skills and influence, we aim to make significant positive impacts within the community and schools.
